Up for sale we have several hundred different Rainier Jubilee flat top beer cans. These are from the famous Seattle wind tunnel find of beer cans. This might be the all-time greatest find in the history of beer can collecting. Over 250 different Rainier cans have been documented from the stash that held 1000's of cans.
Up until 2016, nice condition versions of these cans would sell for up to $100 to $300 apiece. There would be a huge commotion if somebody brought even a few of these cans into one of our local Seattle Rainier Chapter of the Brewery Collectible Club of America shows. Needless to say this find changed that, and also changed the prices of these cans. If you can make it to one of our shows in the Seattle or Portland area, you will have a chance to see these cans in person.
These cans are from both the Seattle and Spokane breweries. Specifically, from Seattle there cans listed with the brewery as "Sicks' Seattle Malting and Brewing" and "Sicks' Rainier Brewing Co". From Spokane there are cans the breweries listed as "Sicks' Spokane Brewery" and "Sicks' Rainier Brewing Co.". There are cans from 12 different series from the mid-1950's. This group of a dozen designs is knows as the Party Series. The cans were locked away for approximately 60 years so there is no rust. There are various amounts of small scratches on the cans. I have taken three detailed pictures of each can to best show the condition.
There are cans for sale below, and also a page showing the Wind Tunnel Find Inventory
, and another page that shows all twelve scenes, and the variety of colors from the Party Series Rainier Jubilee cans.
Below are pictures representing the 12 series in this group. Click on the links to see all the cans for sale from each of these designs.

From this find, we were able to get several thougsand cans, with approximately 250 variations. This group only contains cans from a certain time period. Unfortunately, the find does not have any of the early Christmas cans that launched the Rainier Jubilee series. It also doesn't include any cans from the Brewery series (e.g. Squirrels). There were however a small handful of cans from the Cartoon series, like the man in pajamas, which came just after the Party series. Cartoon cans have been quite literally one in a thousand or so.
All are 12 ounces. Still, if one had to pick a brand of beer with the most varieties, it would be the Rainer cans of the mid-1950's.
Prices vary depending up the condition of the can, and the scarcity. There were cans from this find where only a single example was found and others where there were a few dozen.
Postage to anywhere in the USA is $4.99 total whether you buy 1 can or 100. Cans start at $10 with most in the $15-$20 range. Thanks for looking.
The pictures below show some of the variety of cans found. These pictures show cans with the brewery listed as "Sicks Seattle Brewing and Malting" or "Sicks Spokane Brewery". In addition to these, there are a second batch from "Sicks Rainier Brewing" of both Seattle and Spokane. There are duplicates of most of these cans for sale...but not all.
